Here’s the first look at the LG G6's colourful new user interface

LG seems to be sharing a teaser a day for its upcoming G6 flagship smartphone. The smartphone is scheduled to be launched at on February 26 at an event on the sidelines of MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. In its latest teaser, the South Korean tech giant has posted a 12-second video on its official YouTube channel giving us a sneak peek at how the smartphone's user interface (LG UX) will look like.The video per se doesn't give details on any particular feature in the UI but suggests that the device will have a colourful and engaging interface than what is there in existing flagship LG G5 and the more recently launched LG V20.

The video hints that the overall LG UX will sport square-shaped  cards. Contacts, colourful bars on top for different apps, content with rounded corners perfectly fitting in the screen are shown along with words like Perfect Proportion, Full Vision and Graphics hinting at a more intuitive and animated user interface.

The LG UX in all likeliness will be based on Android 7.0 Nougat and may be called as LG UX 6.0. The G5 and the V20 come with UX 5.0 and UX 5.0+.LG in the past few days has teased several features of LG G6 smartphone. As per the teasers and leaks circulating on the internet, the smartphone will sport a 5.7-inch display with QHD+ (1440x2880 pixels) resolution, Quad DAC tech for high-quality sound, a digital assistant and heat pipes to keep the device cool. The smartphone will also be water resistant.

Upcoming LG flagship may reportedly not sport the latest Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 835, courtesy Samsung. According to a news report in Forbes, LG G6 may not come with Snapdragon 835 SoC but will instead run on relatively older Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor.The report claims that the reason for G6 coming with the old chipset is because its arch rival Samsung, has already called dibs on the initial quantities of Snapdragon 835
