Jio's Prime Membership: What is it and how to apply

Reliance India Limited has announced several new plans for Reliance Jio users. Mukesh Ambani announced on Tuesday that though Jio's tariff plans are set to start functioning from 1st of April, its users can still enjoy free voice calls and roaming. Customers will now have to pay only for data and not for voice calls.

Jio's "Prime Members" can continue to enjoy the "Happy New Year" for another 12 months. The existing 100 million users of Jio can apply for prime membership. To enroll themselves as prime members, Jio users will have to register their name by paying a sum of Rs.99 from March 1 to March 31. After registering users can enjoy all Jio offers for just Rs.303 per month. Users can register themselves as prime members through the My Jio app or at www.jio.com

                        

According to Reliance owner Mukesh Ambani, Jio will cover 99% of India's population by the end of this year. He also said that Jio users spend approx 5.5 crore gb per day for watching videos. 2 crore voice calls are being made by the 100 million Jio users per minute. Moreover he also stated that 7 new Jio users are being registered per second. Jio users have been using 100 crore gb per month which is 20% more than any other network providers.
